Configuration general blueprint of the region in Hanoi
Experts: Félix Damet and Hugues LEROUX
(24/05-07/06/2005)
Following the mission conducted in 2004, the two experts french strengthened assistance to the Inpure based on cartographic and statistical study conducted by the IMV and developed proposals for development in consultation with the team of the National Institute of Urban and Rural Planning. The socio-economic emphasized the diversity of the economic fabric of each province (heavy industry, small industry and handicrafts, agriculture, ports ...) by proposing to link closely to the production of command and management in the metropolis. The population issue is also central to the obligation to urbanise 5 million rural people and to spend 3 million to other non-agricultural activities in rural areas. The party planning highlights a potential corridor of development between Hanoi and Ha Long, to reinforce the line between Hanoi and Hai Phong.
These councils have been several meetings of working within the Inpure and were discussed at a seminar chaired by Vice Minister Nguyen Tan Van, with the participation of many Vietnamese experts (Association of Planners, Association of Architects, Association of Cities of Viet-nam ...)
Proposals french experts have been incorporated into the draft master plan submitted to the Prime Minister for approval.
