Following the integration in September of CBRE Vietnam into CBRE’s wholly owned platform in Asia, the company today announced the strategic appointment of Daniel Hayden as Director and National Head of Valuation & Advisory Services for Vietnam.
Hayden is a third generation property professional, with over 15 years in the real estate industry, including 12 as a qualified valuer. He first joined CB Richard Ellis in 2007 as part of the International Valuation team, based in London, where he rose to the position of Associate Director. At the beginning of 2011 relocated to Singapore as part of CBRE’s International Valuation, Asia team.
Between these two positions he has valued properties in over 40 countries. “Dan was highly recommended internally and his track record for time sensitive delivery of demanding and difficult assignments reads like a wish list of locations and deals across the globe,” said Marc Townsend, managing director of CBRE Vietnam. “We’re very confident that our clients, particularly the multi-national investors and developers, will appreciate the broader perspective and deep professional knowledge he can apply to analysing the Vietnam market.”
Hayden said: “I’m excited about the opportunity to work closely with Marc Townsend and Richard Leech, two of the market’s most respected professionals. Our clients in Vietnam are very fortunate to have a stable team of highly qualified local valuers working on their behalf and I look forward to helping overlay some of the global best practice outcomes that are synonymous with the CBRE brand.”
According to Danny Mohr, executive director, International Valuation Asia, the appointment would strengthen the valuation service offering to CBRE’s cross-border clients in Asia. “I’m very pleased that Dan has accepted the position in Vietnam and, while it will leave a hole in our Singapore team, there is no doubt that it will add a great deal to what we can deliver for our clients investing and developing across the region.”
“With the integration of the company into the Asia corporate platform, it is an exciting time to be a part of CBRE Vietnam,” Hayden continued. “We can now directly benefit our clients by coupling the existing high level of service with the best practice systems and efficiencies developed by CBRE around the world. It means that CBRE’s team in Vietnam can fully access the company’s integrated platforms of client management, regional information sources, market benchmarking and global best practices in undertaking sophisticated client mandates.”/.
