November 8 has been made Vietnam Urban Day under a decision by the Prime Minister.

The decision aims at engaging people from all walks of life, urban authorities, planners, investors, experts and social-professional organisations in urban construction and development.

Organisations, individuals and urban areas with excellent contributions to urban planning, construction and administration will be awarded, the decision says.
