The 1st of January 2006 Bjarke Ingels and Julien De Smedt decided close down PLOT after exactly 5 years of fruitful collaboration. The former partners of PLOT have opened two new companies: JDS architects and BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group. The two partners will supervise the completion of the Ellsinore Psychiatric Hospital, the Sjakket HQ in Copenhagen as well as a handful of designs for objects, lamps and typehouses.
