Southern Ba Ria Vung Tau province’s largest foreign invested project, the $4.2 billion Ho Tram Strip – the MGM Grand Ho Tram Resort moved ahead after appointing SIP Project Managers as its site coordination and co-project management partner for phase 1.
The project developer, Asian Coast Development (Canada) Limited - ACDL Limited on March 2 announced that it had appointed SIP Project Managers as its site coordination and co-project management partner for phase 1 of the 164 hectares of a prime beach-front location.
The MGM Grand Ho Tram – scheduled for opening in the first quarter of 2013 – will include a five star hotel, initially 541 rooms expanding to 1,100, a 13,600 square meter entertainment area, retail, restaurants, bars, lounges, shows, conference and meeting areas, a golf course, and other leisure amenities, representing the first large-scale integrated resort development in Vietnam.
The ACDL assignment sees SIP responsible for on-site coordination of all design information, budget management, and ensuring that the procurement and construction programs meet the agreed development schedule in the lead-up to the MGM Grand Ho Tram's opening in the first quarter of 2013.
“Our ongoing commitment to appointing best in class consultants for our project in Ho Tram is strengthened with the announcement of SIP as our project managers for Vietnam's first large-scale integrated resort development,” said ACDL CEO, Lloyd Nathan.
