Charmvit Plaza – a seven star commercial and office centre – will open in Hanoi in the first quarter of 2010, CB Richard Ellis Vietnam (CBRE) has announced.
Charmvit Plaza is located in the new residential area to the south-east of Tran Duy Hung road, opposite the Big C Thang Long supermarket and the National Convention Centre.
Hanoi Plaza Hotel Ltd Company belonging to the Republic of Korean group, Charmvit, began construction work in late 2007.
The 27-storey complex is more than 100m high and has two basements with a total area of 15,000sq.m. It will house a commercial centre, supermarket, restaurant, and gymnastic club from the first to fourth floors. Twin towers will be from the fifth to the 27th floors: one designed for 564 seven-star hotel rooms and the other for office use.
Charmvit Plaza will be the largest office building and the first top class office building to open in Hanoi next year.
